Text in English: Long and slender sculpture with the upper section shaped as a Triton and the lower as a Caryatid. The female figure stands on a base and is clad in a heavily pleated garment, worn from her head and down her flat back. The female figure is partially placed in front of a Triton which forms the console''s upper-side angle. The woman gathers her dress together in her right hand which rests on her right hip. The material falls in heavy folds, towards the left side of her body. With her left hand above her head she grasps the Triton. The Triton''s fish tail is divided into two and its breast section is that of a female. The Triton has a collar-like torus round its neck. The head is bent back at a sharp angle. The ornamentation consists of earshell work and plant decoration. The sculpture consists of a console with flat back or reverse and is curved at an angle. The angle is marked on the reverse side by a semi-circular recess, 200-250 mm in diameter. The upper side of the angle is almost twice as long as the lower side. The Triton is less well-preserved than the female figure.
