Enligt uppgift skall kanoten ha byggts i slutet av 1800-talet av en Herr Thunell som var arbetsledare på Köpings Mekaniska Verkstad. Den användes för färder mellan Köping och halvön Jägaråsen där hans familj senare uppförde en sommarstuga.
1947 kom den till Beckholmen med Olof Thunell, ingenjör vid Marinverkstäderna och son till byggaren. När denne Olof Thunell gick i pension fanns kanoten kvar i hans tjänstebostad som övergick i Sture Carlerots ägo.
Gåva 1984 av Sture Carlerot.
Sittbrunnen bordlagd. Rammstäv. Sittbrunnen kläddd med grönt tyg. Plåtskodd i stäven. Inventarier: Ryggstöd, roder, kapell, paddel. Mastkrage för litet hjälpsegel på fördäck.
