Adressa trykket bilde 1 og skriver: "Disse engelske gentlemen, studenter fra Oxford alle tre, hadde egentlig tenkt seg på biltur til Finnmark. En kollisjon på Namskogan satte en stopper for turen. Istedet måtte bilen på verksted, og de selv har da sørget for å få det best mulige av ut av Norgesoppholdet under de sørgelige omstendigheter. For å komme seg et lite stykke nordover tok de hurtigruten til Bodø. Derfra gikk de på beina til Mo i Rana og tok tog til Trondheim. Bilen fikk de reparert i Grong - så om den ikke akkurat noe for øyet, så er den i alle fall i kjørbar stand etter det to meter høye svevet utenfor veikanten. Den siste uken har de hatt sitt tilhold i en hytte ved Skjelbreia hvor de har fisket ørret og hatt gode dager, og her er de tre karene og bilen ved avreisen fra Trondheim i går: Fra venstre: Benjamin Hophinson, historiestudent. Gerry Barstow, historiestudent. Briton Walker, kjemistudent".
