Dette er en personbuss som ble bygd av Kolbein Sannes, Vats ved Haugesund. Sannes var karosseribygger hadde han også agentur for Volvo gjennom flere tiår. Dette er en Volvo buss (type B512) som ble levert til Vestvågøya Rutebiler A/S i Stamsund. Bildet er antakelig tatt i forbindelse med levering av bussen i 1948. Bussen ble registret W-6994. I 1961 ble Vestvågøya Rutebiler oveertatt av Lofoten Trafikklag og bussen ble omregistrert til W-8336.
