Det var de tidligere medlemmene i guttemusikken som i 1930-årene fortsatte i Honningsvåg Musikkforeningen (HMF). Da dirigent Randor Nilsen reiste fra Honningsvåg i 1922, påla han Cedolf Eilertsen, som da var en ung gutt, å fortsette arbeidet med musikkforeningen. Dette løftet ble holdt og i 30-årene var det Cedolf Eilertsen sammen med Christian Tuv, Sverre Eilertsen, Einar Isaksen, Erling Falch med flere, som var drivkreftene. Musikkforeningen hadde i denne perioden ca. 10 aktive medlemmer. Øvingslokalene var på gammelskolen. (kilde: Nordkapp-kalender 1995, utgitt av Nordkapp Historielag)
