Vattolin er et stivningsmateriale for innlegg til jakker og frakker, opprinnelig vevd av hestetagl og ull kamgarn, senere ble hestetagl erstattet av bomull. Bindingen var 2-skaft eller rips. Limes ofte til stoffet. (Fra Tekstilt Varelksikin, utgitt 1979)
