Fra NKKM-kort HFN 11283 :"The white sheep-skin, fringed derss was made by Mrs. Agnes Greene, a sioux Indian of St. Michaels, North Dakota, U.S.A. She made the beaded and lether articles for Martha Langslet Hoghaug of Grand Forks, North Dakota, U.S.A., especially for the American Hallinglag`s visit to Hallingdal in 1974. The Hallinglag then purchased them to be presented to the Museum in Nes. The beaded Medallion Belt, and Ear Rings are authentic Sioux jewelry - "For Winds" design. They were crafted by Mrs. Agnes Greene of St. Michael, North Dakota, U.S.A.
She is a Sioux Indian, a granddaughter of a warrior. A warrior is an Indian brave who has killed many enemies to earn the name of warrior and the privilege to be buried in his feather head-dress and war-dress."
