Edvin Landsem fra Rindal var en habil langrennsløper, med gode bragder i langrennssporet hovedsakelig på 1950-tallet. Han representerte Sportsklubben Troll. Foruten å ha gode prestasjoner innenlands deltok han på VM i Lake Placid i 1950, OL i Oslo i 1952, VM i Falun i 1954 og OL i Cortina i 1956.
