Til loket fest handtak og bøygd skorstein/røykutslepp. Dreia trehandtak. Overdelen fest til korpus med jarnspøte med bøyle. Rundt hol i bakkant Glør/Glødande kol vart fylt i behaldaren ved å letta på loket. Glørne varma opp jarn. Brukt i vedkomfyr si tid.
