ENGLISH:
The Stolphus is from Myhren in Sundre. Originally, it stood in the old farmyard at Myhren but was moved along with the farmyard buildings during 1908–1910 and was extended with a loft. It remained like this when the farmyard was slated for demolition due to municipal regulations in the 1960s. When the house was moved to the museum in 1982, it was decided to reconstruct it to its original form. The house has two doors, which was uncommon in Ål.The long flat stone in front is also from Myhren. It lay over the entrance to the manure cellar and was originally found down in the riverbed, as told by Knut Myhren, born 1899. (The stone broke immediately when it was placed in its new position.)
