Nittedal Dyreklinikk er en smådyrklinikk som åpnet i 1992. De er tilsammen 2-3 veterinærer og 2 assistenter. Dyreeierne kommer med alle slags små husdyr, men mest hunder, katter og smågnagere. De behandler også større dyr som hest, gris eller geit. De vanligste plagene for hunder er allergi- og hudplager. Nar det gjelder katt er det ofte skader eller bitt som trenger behandling. De ansatte ved klinikken ser seg som "landsbydoktoren", med personlig forhold til dyreeiere og dyrepasienter. De er der ikke bare for dyrene, men like mye for eierne. Mye tid går med til å svare på spørsmål og gi råd. Klinikken tar seg kun av dyrenes fysikk. Det er likevel mange spørsmål knyttet ti dyrenes adferd, psykologi osv. I slike tilfeller hender det at ekstern hjelp blir kontaktet. Pågangen av pasienter er stor hele dagen, og ofte må man trå til også utenom åpningstiden og i helgene. Det er kun i unntakstilfeller at veterinærene drar på hjemmebesøk.
