Trefoldighetskirken i Oslo er en monumental sentralkirke fra 1858, oppført i upusset, rød tegl etter tegninger av Alexis de Chateauneuf fra 1850. Tegningene ble noe omarbeidet av arkitekt von Hanno i 1851. Kirkeskipet er åttekantet med kor i apsis, grunne tverrskip og rektangulært inngangsparti flankert av to slanke, åttekantete klokketårn. En sentralkuppel hever seg over kirkerommet. Trefoldighetskirken regnes som et hovedverk i 1800-tallets europeiske kirkearkitektur, med rikt utformet inventar. Kirkerommet er i upusset rød tegl, mens hvelv, buer og mindre søyler har grå kalkfarge. Midtrommet er omkranset av søyler med kapiteler i sandstein, utformet og delvis hugget av von Hanno, og langs syv av rommets åtte kanter løper et sammenhengende galleri. Kuppelen over midtrommet har murt ribbehvelv. Teglflisene på gulvet er fra istandsettingen av kirken i 1956-58. Altertavlen er Adolf Tidemands «Jesu dåp», som er en av Norges mest kopierte alterbilder.
