- Dette fotografiet er fra ei samling der opptakene i hovedsak gjort av statens regionale skogforvaltere og medarbeidere fra Skogdirektørens kontor (senere Direktoratet for statens skoger og Statskog SF) i samband med befaringsreiser i forvaltningsdistriktene. Negativsamlinga, med samme nummerering, er også avlevert til museet, men mye mangler og mye er dårlig bevart, blant annet fordi at opptakene i hovedsak er gjort på nitratfilm. Dette bildet har ikke bevart originalnegativ. I det fotografiske arkivet fra den statlige skogadministrasjonen finnes også et større antall diaskopier, samt originale positivkopier utenfor katalogsystemet, men med samme originalnummerering fra DSS. Samlinga omfatter ellers et betydelig antall nyere positivkopier som er registrert på emne og person hos DSS, uten egne nummer.
