Fotograf Malcolm Jacobsson. Född 1844 i Tanum, död 1929 i Lysekil.
Malcolm Jacobsson flyttade till Lysekil 1874 och bodde kvar här till sin död.
Han hade fotoateljé på Kungsgatan 5 i Lysekil, denna brann i den stora branden 1912.
Runt 1920 flyttade han från Lysekil och firman togs över av Joh. Westling som gift sig med Jacobssons dotter Ellen. Alteljen upphörde troligen runt 1950.
Fotografen stavar sitt namn "Jacobson" i tryckt eller präglad text på fotografierna.

Vikarvet startade år 1915 som Fornminnessällskapet Vikarfvet. Inriktningen var då vård av fornminnen i Bohuslän.
En museibyggnad tillkom 1972. Föreningen fick då en mer allmän kulturhistorisk inriktning.
Namnet ändrades år 2009 till Bohuslänska Kulturhistoriska Sällskapet Vikarvet och från 2013 heter föreningen Vikarvet.
