Dear Sirs,
faskinknivs of this type, but with iron handle are known as faskinknivs for engineers of the german Kingdom of Wuerttemberg. Pattern year about 1817 - 1820. The regimental marking on the piece on youtr pictures is one from the 9th army-corps, wich includes also troups of Mecklenburg. If you have got more informations about this piece it would be nice.
