Kjell Ingar Bjørnstad har utlånt til Finnmark fylkesbiblioteks fotoarkiv en bildesamling etter sine foreldre Eli og Ingar Bjørnstad som bodde i Kirkenes i 1943-1944. I 1946 kom de tilbake til Finnmark. Ingar Bjørnstad var distriktslege i Måsøy kommune fram til 1957. Bildene er tatt i Havøysund, i områdene rundt og på en ferietur til Karasjok og Kautokeino med scooter i Finnmark på 1950-tallet. I tillegg finnes det en postkort-serie med Finnmarksmotiv.
Eli Bjørnstad (født Møller) ble født i Kirkenes i 1923 og vokste opp der. Hun døde i 2014. Hun har skrevet bok om de første årene i Havøysund: https://www.nb.no/items/URN:NBN:no-nb_digibok_2013101408249
Ingar Bjørnstad ble født på Ski i 1915 og døde i 1991.
