Bildet kan være tatt på Trondenes, der rundt 80 tsjekkiske tvangsarbeidere var involvert i Organisation Todts anleggsarbeid. Arbeiderne var innkvartert i brakker i den søndre delen av OT-leiren ovenfor Laugen, i området som senere ble kjent som "Finnmarksbyen".
This photo is one of several hundred collected from the descendants of Czech forced labourers in Norway. This was achieved in a collaboration between their families, the Museum of the Boskovice Region, the Charles University in Prague and Sør-Troms Museum.
