D/S "Kong Haakon" ble kjøpt av H. M. Wrangell med flere i mars 1898. Døpt om fra "Earndale" til "Kong Haakon". Senket i 24.06.1917 av tysk ubåt. Var Haugesunds største skip mellom 1898 og 1907.
