- Kurset i utskifting av svillstokker på eldre laftehus ble initiert av Anno museums «Forum for samlingsforvaltning». Tømrer Knut-Arild Nordli ble engasjert som kursleder. Han var da kurset ble avholdt i gang med sitt tredje år i et engasjert for nevnte forum for å tilstandsvurdere og taksere vedlikeholdsetterslep på de om lag 500 antikvariske bygningene i friluftsmuseene som Anno museum har driftsansvar for. Jorunn Gunnestad tok på forumets vegne imot påmeldinger og sørget for lunsj til deltakerne. Breisjønaustet på Norsk Skogmuseum ble valgt som kursobjekt fordi at dette var en liten, golvlaus bygning hvor man kunne konsentrere seg om svillproblematikken uten å ta så mange andre hensyn. I utgangspunktet var det meningen at kurset skulle avvikles i løpet av uke 17 (20. – 25. april) 2015. En kursdag denne uka falt imidlertid bort på grunn av allmøte i Anno-organisasjonen, og restaureringsarbeidet tok noe mer tid enn forutsatt, så kurset ble først avsluttet onsdag 22. april. Knut-Arild Nordli, Knut Melby, Bjørn Erik Hansen og Tom André Haugen deltok under hele kurset. Eskild Midtlie deltok i to dager. To kolleger fra driftsseksjonen på Domkirkeodden var innom på et besøk en av kursdagene. Kurset gav både teoretisk kunnskap og praktiske erfaringer knyttet til en type vedlikeholdsutfordring som forekommer i nær sagt alle kulturhistoriske friluftsmuseer her til lands. Ved Norsk Skogmuseum er man meget fornøyde med måten arbeidet på Breisjønaustet ble utført på.
