Tuberkulosehjemmet var i drift fra 1905 til 1918. Det kommunale sykehuset holdt til her fra 1924 til 1935. Senere var det ulike virksomheter i bygget, til Egil Sjøvold kjøpte det i 1957 og gjorde det om til privatbolig.
