Text till bild: Edward Jacob vinner en internationell tävling i lerduveskytte i Monaco, 1892 (fotograf okänd)
Fotograf Edward Jacob (1856-1901) invandrade till Sverige år 1882 för att köpa skog i Norrland. Han hyrde då och bosatte sig på Stamsjöhult i Lerums socken.
Han gifte sig 25 oktober 1886 med Hermine Henriques på Aspenäs herrgård. De fick barnen Edward Jr den 18 april 1889, Elsa 2 december 1890 och Sidney 30 oktober 1892.
Henrietta Rawlinson, född i London 1828 gifte sig med Herman Henriques med vilken hon fick tre barn Henry 1858, Hermine 1861 och Hugo 1863. Hon blev änka 1864 och gifte om sig med Barthold Butenschön 1865 (ägare till Aspenäs herrgård). De fick en dotter Andrea 1866.

Jacob's house.
