Arkeologisk utgravning i regi av E6-prosjektet sommeren 2005. Det undersøkte området ligger omkring 23, 5 meter over havet, og er del av et større, litt bølgete slettelandskap med bergkoller og mindre åser. Slettelandskapet er i dag hovedsakelig jordbruksland.
På det undersøkte området ble det registrert spor etter et treskipet langhus med jordgravde stolper (hustomt 1). Huset har blitt bygd med tre grinder, og har hatt motstående innganger i den midtre delen av huset. Inngangspartiene har sannsynligvis markert et skille mellom bolig for mennesker og dyr i huset. De bevarte sporene etter huset viste at det har vært minst 18,10 meter langt, men sannsynligvis har det vært omkring 19 meter langt med et indre areal på omkring 142 m². Langveggene har hatt en veldig svakt konveks form, og på det bredeste har huset vært 8 meter bredt. I et av veggstolpehullene (S-22012) ble det gjort et depotfunn i form av skår fra et lite kokekar med hank. Brent leire funnet i et takbærende stolpehull (S-22019) er tolket som spor etter en karm rundt et ildsted som trolig har ligget i den nordøstre delen av huset.
I tillegg til stolpehullene som ble tolket som spor etter hus 1, ble det registrert 2 stolpehull, 3 strukturer hvis funksjon ikke kunne bestemmes og 1 lag fra nyere tid. På ett av bergskjærene som har ligget parallellt med huset er det registrert en skålgrop.Funnet: 2005
