To depoter med skremmepinner ble funnet i forbindelse med arkeologisk feltarbeid på Åndfonne. Se C57838 for nærmere beskrivelse av feltarbeid og funnforhold. Funnene er framkommet innenfor rammene av Det brearkeologiske sikringsprogrammet i Oppland, hvor Oppland fylkeskommune (OFK) og Kulturhistorisk museum (KHM) er prosjektparter. Det ene depotet ble funnet i forbindelse med registreringer i 2010 (depot 1), mens det andre ble funnet ved sikringsundersøkelsene i 2011 (depot 2). Depotfunnene er gitt hhv. undernummer 1 og 2.
Som for de andre funnene ved Åndfonne, ble også depotene funnet på overflaten av nylig framsmeltet steinur. Begge er deponert samlet, som en tett bunt, med nedre del av de tilspissete stikkeendene i den ene enden og snører og vimpler i den andre. Det er ingen tvil om at funnene representerer depoter (Wangen 2016). En av stikkene i depot 1 er datert til folkevandringstid (unr. 1.F4).Funnet
