Lokaliteten ble påvist under registeringer i forbindelse med Anja Roth Niemi sitt PhD-prosjekt. Lokaliteten ligger lunt til, med bergknauser i sør, øst og vest. Det er flott utsyn ut Sennabukta, ut Rognsundet og mot Sørøya. Det er gravd ned en vannledning i øst-vest retning fra en brønn som er gravd ned ca 50 SØ for lokaliteten. I forbindelse med denne gravinga er det kjørt med tunge maskiner i terrenget, slik at vegetasjonen og de øverste løsmassene er forstyrret. Særlig i direkte tilknytning til brønnen er store inngrep gjort, blant annet gjennom planering og opparbeiding av ny vei som tilknyttes til vei markert på ØK-kart i sør. Lokaliteten ble oppdaget gjennom funn av artefakter i grusen som er omrotet rett nedenfor vannledninga, men ved nærmere ettersyn viste det seg at artefaktene også befant seg på ikke-forstyrrete flekker med mindre vegetasjon. Materialet består av blant annet en rundkjerne i hvit/grå kvarsitt, en flekke med terminasjon i hengselsbrudd, sannsynligvis laget med direkte myk teknikk, og diverse avslag i hvit og båndet kvartsitt i det vestlige området. To makroavslag i jaspis og et kvarsittavslag ble funnet i det østlige området. Siden området er utsatt for belastning ble disse funnene samlet inn. Det ble tatt et prøvestikk i direkte tilknytning til og rett nord for løsfunnene lengst mot vest for å undersøke tykkelse og sammensetning på sedimenter og hvorvidt man kunne forvente uforstyrrete funn under vegetasjon. Lagfølgen var 5 cm torv fulgt av 5 cm grus iblandet sand, dette var ikke forstyrret. Funn ble påtruffet rett under torva, vi valgte derfor å ikke gå dypere. Funnene fra prøvestikket ble lagt tilbake og prøvestikket lukket igjen. Siden det er gjort moderne inngrep her, er det vanskelig å anslå hvor stor utstrekning lokaliteten opprinnelig har hatt. Negative prøvestikk sør og nord for overflatefunnene viser at oppholdet har foregått parallelt med den fortidige strandlinjen, i et belte langs 35-meterskoten. Muligens har aktiviteten strakt seg helt øst i bukta, men pga av maskinell aktivitet er spor etter dette ikke synlige på overflaten. Gjennom flere prøvestikk mot øst kan imidlertid slik aktivitet muligens påvises. Boplassen avgrenses i sin nåværende tilstand til å ha en utstrekning på ca 50x15 meter. Ut fra funnmaterialet, utstrekning og strandlinjenivåer, må boplassen ansees til å ha vært av betydelig størrelse, og var muligens besøkt flere ganger eller av en større gruppe tidlig i eldre steinalders fase II, ca 9000BP (8200 f.Kr.).
