Kopplungmesser für Kapazitive Kopplungen KKM-2, tillverkad av Felten & Guilleaume (F&G). Apparaten användes för att mäta och eliminera störningar som orsakas av kapacitiv koppling, det vill säga att det uppstår störningar genom elektriska fält mellan två kablar som ligger bredvid varandra.
Ett klassiskt exempel på kapacitiv koppling är när man pratar i fast telefon och hör andras samtal i bakgrunden även om det vanligaste fenomenet mest är brum eller brus. Ett annat exempel är när man kan få en lampa att lysa genom att hålla den nära en högspänningsledning. Detta kan motverkas genom så kallad balansering som görs genom att koppla in bland annat kondensatorer och spolar mellan kabelparen. Med en KKM-2 kan man mäta och finjustera med rattarna tills störningen var utbalanserad och därigenom få fram de värden som behövs för installationen.
Apparaten är troligen tillverkad åren runt 1970, dock tidigast 1967 baserat på amperemätarens tillverkarlogotyp (Gossen) som användes 1967-1978. Den användes i undervisningen på SJ-skolan i Ängelholm, senare Banverksskolan och Trafikverksskolan, fram till början av 2000-talet för att sedan bli liggande. Vid en utrensning av äldre materiel var den nära att slängas men räddades av givaren som sedan skänkte den till Järnvägsmuseet.
