Frå føraren for Valdres Folkemuseum (2012):
"Bensinbua vart bygd i 1920.

The Petrol Pump is from Vestre Gausdal. The petrol station was built in 1920 and moved to the museum in 1990. Cars became common during the twentieth century. Bus companies, garages, driving schools and the taxi business were a natural consequence. Shell and Esso (Tiger) were the first to have petrol stations at Fagernes. The Shell pump was near Fagernes Hotel, the Esso pump by the taxi stand.
