- Tomter kirke Tomter kirke er en langkirke i laftet tømmer, med lavere og smalere kor i øst og tårn over våpenhuset i vest. Kirken har utvendig og innvendig kledning, men kirkerommet har antagelig hatt bare tømmervegger til 1800-tallet. Sakristiet er fra 1715, og klokketårnet ble bygd til på 1850-tallet, da den tidligere takrytteren ble revet. I forbindelse med ombyggingen på 1850-tallet, fikk kirkerommet hvelvet himling. Korskilleveggen, med kvaderimitering, er antagelig også bygd på denne tiden. Brystningene mellom kor og skip er imidlertid fra tidlig på 1600-tallet. Korhimlingen ble ombygd i 1880, for å gjøre plass til den høye altertavlen. Kirken ble istandsatt og kirkerommet fargerestaurert i 1949-50 under ledelse av arkitekt Th. Lundegård og konservator Finn Krafft. Krusifikset over koråpningen er fra 1200-tallet, og kommer antagelig fra den tidligere stavkirken på stedet. Alterbildet fra 1880, med nygotisk innramming, viser Jesus i skyen, slik gjenkomsten til jorden er beskrevet i Johannes åpenbaring kapittel 14 vers 14.
