- Vinger kirke, som ble innviet i 1699, er en korskirke med tårn i vest og sakristi på nordsiden av koret. Den er oppført i laftet tømmer av byggmester Peder Gundersen Norigarden. Kirken er både utvendig og innvendig panelt. Kirkestedet lå egentlig på den andre siden av Glomma, men da Kongsvinger festning ble bygd på 1680-tallet, ble det behov for å flytte kirkestedet, fordi det var vanskelig å komme over elven fra festningen. Den nye kirken ble derfor bygd der den står i dag. Kirkerommet har gjennomgått endringer, og det meste av inventaret er skiftet ut. I 1854-55 ble det laget nye benker og gallerier, og tønnehvelv over alle fire korsarmene. Opprinnelig var det flate himlinger. I 1928 ble koret istandsatt, og interiøret i kirken ble restaurert i 1963-65. Orgelgalleriet bak alteret er fra 1839 og prekestolen med enkle firkantete fyllinger fra 1704. Den middelalderske døpefonten av kleberstein sto opprinnelig i den gamle kirken på andre siden av Glomma. Det gotiske krusifikset over alteret er også fra den gamle kirken.
