Jostein Eriksen født 1926
- tenor - studerte ved MK i Oslo og hos Theodor Andresen og professor Ernst Tempele i Wien. Konsertdebut 1956, fra starten av solist ved Den Norske Opera. Han har gjort en stor innsats på DNO i mer enn 50 større og mindre roller, bl.a. som grev Almaviva i "Barberen", Ferrando i "Cosi fan tutte", Kapteinen i "Wozzeck", Visjek i "Den solgte brud", Rinuccio i "Gianni Schicchi", Alfred i "Flaggermusen", Jacob Skomaker i "Jeppe", Leonard i "Maskarade", Hemming i "Olav Liljekrans", Benoit i "La Bohème", Fyrst Sjuiskij i "Boris Godunov", Lucano i "Poppeas kroning" og Leonard i "Den stundesløse". Jostein Eriksen var kunstnernes representant til styre og råd i DNO og formann i Norsk Operasangerforbund hvor han nå er æresmedlem.
