- Dette fotografiet er tatt av forstkandidaten Hans Gottfred Støre (1878-1940), antakelig i perioden 1905-1910, da han arbeidet som skogforvalter i Rendalen statsallmenning i Hedmark. Motivet ble funnet som en løs kopi i museets arkiv, men det er sannsynlig at den har kommet inn sammen med materialet fra den statlige skogetaten (Landbruksdepartementets skogkontor/Direktoratet for statens skoger/Statskog SF), som etter hovedmottaket derfra i 2001 ble registrert med en nummerserie der den innledende signaturen var DSS. Mesteparten av dette materialet var opptak som var gjort av medarbeidere i den statlige skogetaten under befaringsreiser rundt omkring i Norge.

- Other informationHans G. Støre var født i Meråker. En periode i yngre år arbeidet han som forretningsmann, men i 1899 avla han eksamen ved Steinkjer skogskole. Deretter studerte han skogbruk ved Landbrukshøgskolen på Ås, hvor han avla avsluttende eksamen i 1905. I mellomtida hadde han vært skogbestyrer for Moelven Brug i perioden 1900-1902. Som fersk forstkandidat ble han skogforvalter i Rendalen, og fra 1910 hadde han en tilsvarende stilling i forvaltningsområdet Solør-Romerike. I 1916 ble han oppnevnt som skogforvalter i det nyopprettete Nedre Orkla forvaltningsdistrikt. Her arbeidet han resten av sitt yrkesliv. Regional tilhørighet: Sør-Trøndelag Skole: |
