History

    • Denne kjolen stammer fra danseren og pedagogen Love Krohn (1892–1951). Krohn fikk sin første ballettutdanning i St. Petersburg, hun trente hos Fokine i Stockholm i 1912 og hadde studert spansk ballett i Barcelona. Hun åpnet sin egen skole i 1917 og drev den til 1950. I 1918 ga hun soloforestillinger på Nationaltheatret. "Publikum beundret både hennes suverene teknikk og de eventyrlige kostymene hun hadde samlet i utlandet" (Valdenar Hansteen, "Historien om norsk ballet", s. 61)
