ENGLISH:
The house is from Skomakarmoen. The farm was commonly called Blekkmoen because there were blacksmiths (blekksmedar) there. "Blekkenstugu" was the first house built at Skomakarmoen, constructed by the then-owner Eilev Eilevsson Skomakarmoen (1854–1932) and his wife Torand Guttormsdotter Hagaøyen Skomakermoen (1850–1917). The house was moved to the museum in 1988/1989.It was told that Eilev and Torand worked hard, scrimped and saved in modest conditions and had managed to save 16,000 NOK. They then lent the money to a farmer, thinking it was safe, but he speculated it all away. It is said that there was an opportunity to hold a “party” in the small house, even a dance!
