    • Arkivet etter fotograf Erling Syringen (f. 26. 11. 1903 – d. 22. 04. 1983) omfatter glassplatenegativer, plastnegativer og papirpositiver og kom til Glomdalsmuseet tidlig på 1980-tallet. Fotoarkivet vitner om en fotograf med høyt aktivitetsnivå og bred interessesfære. Erling Syringens kameralinser fanget opp det meste som var av små og store begivenheter i Elverum. Fotoarkivet etter Erling Syringen utgjør den mest omfattende fotografiske dokumentasjonen vi har av Elverum i tidsrommet fra ca. 1930 til ca. 1970. Store deler av arkivet er digitalisert, men arbeidet pågår fortsatt.
